Ohio Department of Public Safety Announces formation of Oil and Gas Development Public Safety Committee ODPS will lead the Oil and Gas Development Public Safety Committee, including representatives from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Ohio Homeland Security, Ohio Emergency Medical Services, Ohio State Fire Marshal, Ohio Emergency Management Agency, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. The committee's purpose is to deal with topics related to first responders, safety, and security issues related to oil and gas development. The committee will also interact with the various communities involved, sharing information and responding to their concerns.
